I am 23, the youngest son in my family. I was born in Kampong Cham province where my parents currently live. I started my first job as an internship at University of Cambodia (UC) while I was studying in my second year. After a 6 month internship, I was promoted to full-time staff as an Academic-Foundation Department Officer. After 6 months as an AFD Officer, I was offered a new opportunity with HR Inc. (Cambodia), a recruitment and consulting company. I was hired as a Recruitment Trainee.
At HR Inc., I have performed very well and was quickly promoted to Recruitment Analyst in June 2007. I work very hard to achieve the recruitment team’s sales targets and company objectives. I get involved with recruitment, interviewing, advising candidates, and building good relationships with clients; moreover, I play the role as project manager for some company project including an FAO’s recruitment project.
I have joined the Youth Network for Change (YNC) in early 2006 when it consisted of 7 members. I am an Administrator. I am very pleased to be YNC’s member because I have a chance to help poor kids in rural areas of Cambodia; here I also have a chance to build networks and share experiences with the participants coming from different institutes and organizations.
As an Administrator, I have taken on many responsibilities such as coordinating between participants and kids to ensure that participants understand what kids need and that kids build good relationships with participants. Furthermore, I DJs events to bring laughs and smiles to all attendees.
I finished Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Business Management in the early February, 2008.
